Here at Custom Collision Inc we are here to help with any questions you might have.  For any further assists needed please call. (864) 231-6900

1.  Can the insurance company determine where my vehicle is repaired or do I have the choice? Legally you have the choice.

2.  Dealership vs. Independent bodyshop? Both work off same estimate and use factory compatible paint.  You need to look for qualifications, certificates, equipment, referrals, and Lifetime Warranty. That we have and offer to you.

3.  When do I pay my deductible and do I pay it to the shop? When you pick up your vehicle after the repairs are done you pay the shop direct. We do not accept personal checks but all insurance checks, major credit cards, debit, and cash. Sorry for any inconvenience.

4.  If the shop finds any additional damage than the original estimate who pays? If the shop is notified of the insurance company, they are contacted and responsible for paying any additional repairs or replacement parts involved in the accident. If insurance is not mention the customer is but you will be notified.

5.  Are estimates free? Yes, computerized estimate.

6.  What are your hours of operation? We are open Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday by appointment only.

7.  What if I need to drop off before or after hours? We do have a drop off box.

8.  Is my vehicle secured? Yes. You do need to get any valuables out of vehicle before drop off if possible.  We do have a fenced in area that stays locked after hours, along with video surveillance, and an alarm system.

9.  What are OEM parts? They are original equipment manufacturer.

10.            What are aftermarket parts? Not original manufacturer equipment. There are several companies duplicating OEM parts @ a lower price.

11.            Who pays for towing? If the insurance is paying for repairs we will have it towed here and pay the tow bill and the insurance company will reimburse us. That is one less worry you will not have.  It is best to have it towed to our facility as soon as possible so the storage fees stop accumulating and we can go over the estimate better at the time an adjustor will look at the vehicle if not us to write the estimate.

12.            How long will it take to repair the damage to my vehicle? Once we have the parts in house, we begin process.  Depending on the amount of damage, we can typically perform 3 to 5 hours in a day. So you would divide that into the total number of hours listed on the estimate.  There are occasions when we uncover hidden damage during the course of repairs which was not visible when the original estimate was written. Sometimes additional parts may need to be ordered to complete the repairs.

13.            What is PDR-Paintless Dent Repair? No paint is used and the dent is worked out from the inside out, usually 1/3rd of the cost but not every dent can be done this way.

14.            Can I have other repair work done not related to the accident? Yes. Please let your service advisor know that you are interested in other repair work.

15.            Will my paint match? Yes, we have the most advanced factory paint matching system and trained technician to match your factory color.
